Leah Tejpal, founder and owner of Leah's Skin Care,  grew up in Bombay, India.  Her interest in skin care was the result of a friend's battles with teenage acne. Leah's curiosity about the causes of skin problems fueled her desire to learn about all subjects related to skin care.

At the age of sixteen, she started her career as an aesthetician in Bombay, where she studied under European masters of skin care at the five-star Taj Mahal and Oberoi Hotels. She expanded her knowledge of skin care to include Western as well as Eastern holistic approaches,

Nearly a decade ago, Leah took her experience and expertise to New York. During that time, Leah worked at renowned beauty salons in New York City and built a loyal following.  Her talent and reputation led to the opening of her own salon Leah’s Skin Care, where techniques from two different civilizations merge into a relaxing, beautifying experience.

Leah continues to travel the world to research skin care treatments, products and techniques. She is dedicated to delivering exacting skin care and beauty services to her clients. She lives with her husband and young daughter in New York City.
